Preparations #2

Good afternoon bloggers, currently 12:58PM here in Sydney, Australia. I've done a little more research as to where I'm headed next year. I'd be situated 2 hours and 45 minutes drive by car from London, so I would still be able to travel there during the weekends. Also I think an hour a bit away from Cambridge City. There are many places that I want to go to. Haha, Manchester would be included on that list as well. I plan to watch an actual Soccer game somewhere too, oh and Cricket (Apparently there are a lot of people heading to the United Kingdom to watch Cricket), but that I don't really know yet.

The boarding school that I'll be at is just near the coast and this really amazing beach. Too bad that it'll be Winter when I first arrive. Ahh all of this excitement is finally hitting me. Although I've just finished high school September this year, and still waiting on the final exam results, and on top of that I've still got the school formal to attend this Thursday. This trip to the United Kingdom is keeping me up and happy.

I hope all you bloggers have an amazing day today.

Preparations #1

Good evening bloggers, it's 11:31PM here in Sydney. I spent the whole day sorting and cleaning out my wardrobe. What I left in there are my Winter clothes, in the pink basket are a few Summer clothes in which I still need for the next month.

7 weeks and a bit until I leave!

Start of a new blog

I've made a new blog just for travel purposes, to keep track of where I am at, and how things are on my end of the world. I'm keeping this blog open to all who wants to read it. So keep posted.

I go by the name Serenity, currently living in Sydney, Australia for the time being, and soon will be moving to Hunstanton, United Kingdom. There I will be doing volunteer work at a boarding School. I'm not quite sure about what the activities and work that I'll be doing as of yet. But I am really excited to go. I haven't got much things ready either. I've cleaned out my wardrobe today, and found only a few pieces of Winter clothing. When I leave Australia early January 2011, it will be Summer, meaning really hot, and then I arrive at Heathrow airport, where it'll be freezing/snow/minus degrees. I have still yet to research about the weather/seasons/everything else there.

I'm also going to be attending a pre-departure briefing next, next week here in Sydney. So there I will find out a bit more. I love the agency that I applied with, they've got really friendly staff that are always willing to help. I seriously can't wait! :) xo
